Father & Son
A father came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.
Son: "Father, may I ask you a question?"
Father replied: "Yeah sure, what it is?"
Son: "Father, how much do you make an hour?"
Father said angrily: "That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?"
Son: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"
Father: "If you must know, I make $20 an hour."
"Oh," the little boy replied, with his head down. Looking up, he said, "Father, may I please borrow $10?"
The father was furious, "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such childish behavior."
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. Father sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? After about an hour or so, the father had calmed down, and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $10 and he really didn't ask for money very often.
The father went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.
"Are you asleep, son?" Father asked.
"No Father, I am awake," replied the little boy.
"I have been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier," said the father. "It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $10 you asked for."
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. "Oh, thank you Father!" He yelled.
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The father, seeing that the little boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.
"Why do you want more money if you already have some?" the father grumbled.
"Because I didn't have enough, but now I do," the little boy replied.
"Father, I have $20 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you."
Moral of the Story: Share this story with someone you like... But even better, share $20 worth of time with someone you love. It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life.
We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts.
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days.
But the family and friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family. An unwise investment indeed!
So what is the moral of the story?
Everyone works for his family but don't work too hard that you are unable to give some of your time to your beloved ones.
Give time to your Family ...
FAMILY stands for F-ather A-nd M-other I L-ove Y-ou.
Take care and Be Blessed..

A Pencil & An Eraser
Pencil: I'm sorry
Eraser: For what? You didn't do anything wrong.
Pencil: I'm sorry because you get hurt because of me. Whenever I made a mistake, you're always there to erase it. But as you make my mistakes vanish, you lose a part of yourself. You get smaller and smaller each time.
Eraser: That's true. But I don't really mind. You see, I was made to do this. I was made to help you whenever you do something wrong. Even though one day, I know I'll be gone and you'll replace me with a new one, I'm actually happy with my job. So please, stop worrying. I hate seeing you sad.
I found this conversation between the pencil and the eraser very inspirational. Parents are like the eraser whereas their children are the pencil. They're always there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes. Sometimes along the way, they get hurt, and become smaller / older, and eventually pass on. Though their children will eventually find someone new (spouse), but parents are still happy with what they do for their children, and will always hate seeing their precious ones worrying, or sad. All my life, I've been the pencil. And it pains me to see the eraser that is my parents getting smaller and smaller each day. For I know that one day, all that I'm left with would be eraser shavings and memories of what I used to have.
My Dear Friends, I urge you to please take care of your Parents who have spent their whole life for your care. As they have taken care of you, at your childhood, and sacrificed their happiness for your happiness. Burnt all their lifes taking care of your needs, and when they need you at the most you do not take care of them. Please take care them, because if you do not love the Parents whom you can see, How can you love the God who is Invisible??
Let's ask ourself and Take care of these precious pearls of our life.
May God Bless You and always be with you...

Little Girl & The Father
Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.. The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter, ‘Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don’t fall into the river.’
The little girl said, ‘No, Dad. You hold my hand.’
‘What’s the difference?’ Asked the puzzled father.
‘There’s a big difference,’ replied the little girl.
‘If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go.’
In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, but in its bond.
So hold the hand of the person who loves you rather than expecting them to hold yours...
My dear friend, Just analyze Ourselves whose hand do you hold? Do they Love you? Will they leave you alone in your troubles and pains to suffer? My dear friend for those who are in pain and trouble, there is someone who will never leave you alone. Yes Hold on to the Hands of our Mighty God who created us, who loves you.
Read the following verses to comfort you:
Bible Says in Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU.”
and again the Bible repeats in Deuteronomy 31:8, "The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
So be of good cheer.. The God of All Creation is with you...

God's Coffee
A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.
Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some
expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to the coffee.
When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said:
"If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.
Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink.
What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups... And then you began eyeing each other's cups.
Now consider this: Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of Life we live.
Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided us."
God brews the coffee, not the cups.......... Enjoy your coffee!
"The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything."
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.
Yes my dear friend, we always concentrate on Cups (Jobs, Money, Society, etc.) and forgets the real coffee (Life) which our Loving Father God wants us to give. Are you too, concentrating on cups rather than coffee, then my dear friend, you will miss the both. Change your view towards life and believe in the Creator of the Universe and then you see Blessings in your life. Are you ready to change the view towards Life?
May God Bless you with the Best Coffee in the Best Cup.
